Day 1

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Scenic Highlands & First Wildlife Encounters

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, followed by a warm welcome and briefing from your professional safari guide. You’ll then drive north through Kenya’s fertile highlands toward the Mount Kenya region, a journey of approximately 3 to 4 hours.

As you approach Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the scenery opens into wide plains with views of Mount Kenya on clear days. After arriving at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, you’ll check in and enjoy a relaxed lunch overlooking the surrounding wilderness.

In the afternoon, head out for your first wildlife safari game drive. Ol Pejeta is renowned for its rhino conservation efforts, and you may spot both black and white rhinos, along with elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. You’ll also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, where rescued chimps live in a protected environment.

Day 4

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve – Big Five & Migration Experience

Today is dedicated to a full-day wildlife safari in the Masai Mara, allowing you to explore deeper into one of Africa’s most iconic ecosystems. With a packed picnic lunch, you’ll spend the entire day in the reserve, maximizing your chances of incredible wildlife encounters.

You’ll depart early in the morning when the park is most active. During these cooler hours, predators such as lions and hyenas are often still on the move, while herds of zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes graze across the open plains. Your guide will lead you to key wildlife areas, including the Mara River.

If traveling during the migration season, you may witness the dramatic Great Wildebeest Migration, where thousands of animals attempt to cross crocodile-filled waters. Even outside migration season, the Masai Mara offers excellent chances to see elephants, buffaloes, and possibly leopards resting in the shade.

You’ll then begin your journey toward Tanzania, traveling approximately 5 to 6 hours via the Isebania or Sirari border. After completing border formalities, continue to Musoma, located along the shores of Lake Victoria.

Arrive in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. The remainder of the day is relaxed, allowing you to unwind by the lakeshore. You may take a short walk, watch local fishermen at work, or enjoy birdwatching in this peaceful setting.

Dinner is served at the lodge as you enjoy the calm atmosphere of Africa’s largest freshwater lake.

Lake Victoria to Serengeti National Park – Enter the Endless Plains

After breakfast, begin your drive to Arusha, a journey of approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Depending on your departure time, you may stop for lunch or visit local markets for souvenirs. Your guide will then transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or your hotel.

This marks the end of your unforgettable Kenya and Tanzania safari experience.
