After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing on trekking guidelines and safety. You’ll then be assigned to a gorilla family and begin your trek into the dense rainforest.

The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. The terrain may be steep and challenging, but the experience is incredibly rewarding.
